Angie Layne | Owner, Acro Gymnastics Coach, Cheerleading Coach & Instructor since 2004
Angie has been involved with gymnastics & cheerleading for over 25 years. She has a Masters Degree in Sports Management and a Bachelors Degree in Education, both from Morehead State University. She cheered for four years at Fairfield Local HS and two years at Morehead State. She also worked one year for UCA (Universal Cheerleaders Association), served as an assistant cheer coach at Morehead State, taught gymnastics classes at Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy and T-N-T (Morehead, KY). She competed 10 years in acro gymnastics, one year as a Jr-Elite Acrobat, and was also a National Champion two consecutive years. She is a USAG regionally ranked judge, serves as the Region 5 Technical Committee Chair and Acro Program Development Task Force Rep., was the 2007 Region 5 Coach of the year and is USAG safety certified. In 2008, Angie led the Aerial’s EXTREME Cheerleading Team to it’s first National Title and coached 3 National Champion Acrobats! Angie is married to J.D. Layne, has three children (Payton, Jillian and Cali) and lives near Clarksville.

Angie Bahr | Instructor
Angie was a student of Joni Streber’s for more than ten years. She competed in artistic gymnastics for two years and was Junior Olympic Champion at age 11. She was on the USA Power Tumbling Team for four years and has two World and 11 National titles in tumbling. She also earned several national titles in acro gymnastics and was a former coach at the Clinton County YMCA. She works full time at DHL in the finance department and has been married to Roger for 24 years, has two children (Josh & Morgan) and lives in Wilmington.

Robin Bellamy | Assistant Acro Gymnastics Coach & Instructor since 2004
Robin has been involved with gymnastics for over 20 years. She has a Bachelors Degree in Advance Medical Imaging from the University of Cincinnati and works full time for Highland District Hospital. She has also taught classes at Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy and American Flyers. She cheered four years at Fairfield Local HS. She also competed 10 years in acro gymnastics, one year as an Elite Acrobat, one year as a Jr.-Elite Acrobat, and was also National Champion two consecutive years. She is a USAG certified judge, and is USAG safety certified & CPR certified. Robin is married to Tony Bellamy, has two daughters (Olivia & Ashlyn) and lives near Leesburg.

Emma (Johnson)Burgess | Assistant Acro Gymnastics Coach & Instructor since 2004
Emma is a full-time certified phlebotomy technician at Fayette Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Aerial’s All-Star Cheerleading Team in 2006-2007, she cheered at Fairfield Local HS for 4 years & competed 3 years on the Aerial’s Acro Gymnastics Team. She is USAG safety certified. Emma is married (Oct 25, 2008) to Brandyn Burgess and lives in Leesburg.

Lindsay Ellis | Head Cheerleading Coach & Instructor since 2004
Lindsay cheered her first two years at the University of Cincinnati. She recently graduated as a Dental Hygentist. She was a member of the 2003-2004 Aerial’s All-Star Team. She cheered 4 years at McClain HS where she currently serves as the High School Cheer Coach. She competed 7 years on the Aerial’s Acro Gymnastics Team. She is USAG safety certified & CPR certified. Lindsay is the daughter of Jack & Nancy Ellis and lives in Greenfield.

Candace Frump | Assistant Cheerleading Coach & Instructor since 2004
Candace is a sophomore at Southern State Community College and is employed full time at National Bank & Trust in Wilmington. She was a member of the 2004-2005 Aerial’s All Star Cheerleading Team and cheered for Clinton-Massie HS for 3 years. She is USAG safety certified & CPR certified. Candace is married to Michael Frump and lives near Wilmington.

Ashley Hagen | Instructor since 2004
Ashley is a Senior Health Promotions Major at Morehead State University. She was a member of Aerial’s All-Star Cheerleading Team in 2003-2004. She cheered at Fairfield Local HS for 4 years & competed 8 years on the Aerial’s Acro Gymnastics Team. Ashley is the daughter of Pat & Jill Hagen and lives in Leesburg.

Sandy Lovelace | Assistant Gymnastics Coach & Instructor since 2007
Sandy is the Assistant Gymnastics Coach and instructor at Aerial’s. Previously, she was the Assistant Gymnastics Coach at the Clinton County YMCA. Sandy is a former competitive acro gymnast. She cheered 4 years at Wilmington HS. Sandy works full time at Main Medical, Inc. She is USAG safety certified. She has four children (Alyssa, Addam, Mercedes & William) and lives in Wilmington.

Tina opened Aerial’s Gymnastics 14 years ago in Leesburg and has been involved with gymnastics for over 25 years. She cheered four years at Wilmington HS. She also competed in acro gymnastics for 8 years, one year as an Elite Acrobat, and was a National Champion 8 times. She is USAG safety certified. Tina is married to Klay Maynard, has four children (Tyler, Ashli, Jayme, and Kole), and lives in Hillsboro.

Erin has an Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology from Northern Kentucky University. She is employed full time at Mercy Hospital Clermont. She cheered 2 years at Fairfield Local HS. She is USAG safety certified & CPR certified. Erin lives in Batavia.

Joni Streber | Instructor
Joni was the owner of Wilmington Gymnastics Team and Acro Express Gymnastics for over 20 years. She has coached 15 World Champions and over 50 National Champions in Sports Acrobatics, Power Tumbling and Artistic Gymnastics. She is currently the Wilmington College Cheerleading Coach and is AACCA certified. She is married to Steve Streber, has a daughter named Jodi, two sons (Schuyler and Sage) and lives in Wilmington.

Taylor Wilkin | Instructor since 2007
Taylor is a senior at Lynchburg-Clay. She is a member of the 2008-2009 Acro Gymnastics Team and previous member of 2007-2008 Aerial’s EXTREME National Champion Cheerleading Team. She has been involved with gymnastics and cheerleading for 6 years. She is USAG safety certified. She is the daughter of Rita Storts and Sam Wilkin.
